#LoveCantWait at the Supreme Court

I stopped at the U.S. Supreme Court the other morning on the way to work to check out the scene. It was a festival-like atmosphere with marriage equality supporters and opponents all trying to get their points of view across. Usually when I go to these events, I bring two to three cameras — one with a long telephoto lens, one with a medium telephoto lens and sometimes a third with super wide angle lens. On this morning, however, I only had my Fuji X100s with me. Did I miss a shot because I didn’t have the right lens? Maybe, but I also felt like have the Fuji, with its fixed lens, made me work the scene much better.

I got pretty excited when I saw this couple standing behind one of the anti equality protestors. They just had a great look with their bowties, jackets, stylish facial hair and American flag.
