Sunrise over San Francisco and the Bay Bridge

San Francisco

This is sunrise on our last morning in San Francisco. It wasn’t the foggy morning I had hoped for but you can’t complain when you get beautiful light like this.

It didn’t hurt that I didn’t have to go very far to make this picture, either. I walked up one floor to the roof of my sister-in-law’s condo and set up my tripod.

I had been meaning to shoot more pictures of the Bay Bridge, which had been turned into a giant light sculpture to mark its 75th anniversary.

The photo, itself, is an HDR composite of four frames.
